So, Friday 3rd March was the day it all happened. An exciting new start. We, Gaynor with her stained-glass artistry and I, Lindsay with my Wax & Suds creations, moved into our shared workshop the address of which was ‘The Bull Pen’, which led me nicely to the naming of Tallow Wick Byre (we like all things in context). The buildings, light and airy, look out on troughs full of flowers and weeping trees, with feathery footed little show hens pecking happily at the grassy islands around the workshop, an artist’s paradise, who wouldn’t be inspired? And all of this situated on a lovely old working farm in a pretty North Essex Village.
